Trig's is considered more of a collection than a chain. Each store is designed to uniquely serve its community in a very personal and committed way, taking on the personality of its region. Our story began in 1971 when Trig and Tula Solberg purchased the first, single small store in Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin. Today, T.A. Solberg Company, Inc. operates Trig's grocery stores in the Northern Wisconsin communities of Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, and Tomahawk.

Job Responsibilities Include:

-Performing all duties and tasks in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the best internal delivery service to all company facilities and customer service to our guests.

-Appropriate Class A CDL in good standing and current Fed Med certificate is required.

-Operate forklift, power jack, power lift, hand jack, and other equipment as needed to unload and load product safely.  (Power equipment certification training required.  Training provided by company)

-Follow proper check-in/check-out procedures on all delivery stops in ensure proper pick-up and drop-off of materials (includes equipment deliveries, refrigerated and non-refrigerated product, cardboard bails, food racks, etc.)  Most freight is palletized for loading and unloading.     

-Perform all duties as required under Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)Title 49 for Transportation.

-Complete all paperwork/record keeping activities as required such as tracking mileage and drive time.

-Inform Transportation/Logistics Manager in a timely fashion of any maintenance concerns or delivery schedule concerns so that our transport jobs can continue on schedule and safely.

-Following all applicable traffic laws while operating company equipment and vehicles.

-Practice various safety measures and protocols when pulled over on the side of the road for either emergency or maintenance related situations. 

-Practice appropriate communication with dispatching leaders, trucking leaders, and customers to ensure all parties have a positive experience with our services.

*Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

*Schedule is typically Monday through Friday.  Drivers are home each day.

 

Certification/Licensing and Other Requirements:

*Must have a valid Class A CDL.

*Preferably 2+ years experience.

*The company will cover the costs of obtaining training or licensing as needed.

*Pre-employment and ongoing random alcohol/drug screenings will be required in compliance with DOT Regulations.
