My first job was in the bakery at Nelson's County Market at the age of 16. I started as a packager/closer. I carried 2 jobs until I was the age of 21. I also worked at O'reilly's and Harley Davidson as an HR co-op. I continued to work my way up the ladder at the grocery store while going to school and college. I decorated cakes for 1 year as well in that time to help the team as there was a need in that position. After working in the bakery for 4 years I became the Lead of the Department. I was the lead of the Nelson's County Market bakery when Trig's Purchased the store in 2018. I grew my way into Bakery Coordinator in August of 2019. I then continued to climb the ladder and became Bakery Director of Operations in 2021.
What types of certifications, education, or other licensing have you acquired?
I have a College Degree in Business Management and a few certificates in Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. Also have my Food Safety as well.
What kind of awards, recognition, or honors have you been a part of in your career? Include years, title of honor/award,etc.

What parts of the job are your favorites? What are you passionate about? What gives you energy in this industry?
My favorite part of my job is numbers. I like anything with numbers and completing spreadsheets and checking off my to do list. I am passionate about sweets and having a variety being that I am the Bakery Director. My energy comes from being a team player and working with people. Trends are always growing and you have to be on your toes. I have the privilege to go to Food Shows and see what is out there. Sometimes the Food Shows last a couple of days and far travels.
Why do you enjoy working for the company?
I like how the company is family oriented and family caring. The benefits are very competitive. I enjoy how we work as a team to get to1 goal at the end of the day.
What are some things that you are proud of that you accomplished, implemented, or executed while working for thecompany?
I am proud of how I grew with this company and made a just a job a career for me. I am also proud how I created most of the Bakery Programs we have in place and coached our store teams on these programs.
What are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Hunting, Fishing, Walking outdoors, Farming (I live on a farm), firewood, Stock car racing, and spending time with my step daughter and husband
What is your"passion word" on your name badge and why did you choose it?
My passion word is Family. I chose this word because everything I do in my life is based around or for my family. I spend as much time as I can with them.
