Melissa is a CPA and worked with our company as our account manager, during her 21-year tenure at a publicly held accounting firm, prior to joining our company as CFO in December 2020. She joined our company during a challenging time as the pandemic swept through our country, but she took a deep dive into learning the grocery industry and has made significant contributions to many facets of the business. She transitioned very successfully from public accounting to private accounting, which can be a huge leap for many.
Melissa is an Officer of the company responsible for budgeting, financial health, strategic planning, and acquisitions for the entirety of our very diverse organization including 25 businesses spanning a variety of industries, including 5 full-service grocery stores.
