Mike has worked for T.A. Solberg for almost five years now. When he was hired, he was asked to float between stores and help out produce departments where needed. I was eventually promoted to the Produce Lead in Eagle River which he thoroughly enjoyed. After four months, he was asked to take on the role as Produce Coordinator for the company which after a short time turned into the Director of Produce & Floral. He has worked in the Grocery Industry since he was 15 years old, starting as a Bagger. After he graduated High School, he took a job with an independent grocer while attending school.
He found himself taking on more roles and responsibilities within the company and he was given a night manager roll early and moved up from there. He spent eight years learning the grocery side of the business before going to work for Albertsons. There, He was hired on at the flagship store near the company's corporate offices and was surrounded by very talented and hard-working individuals that took the time to train and develop him for his own successful career within the produce side of the organization. He worked for Albertsons as a Produce Lead for over 23 years in 10 different home stores and was part of a team that would travel for remodels & Grand Openings. He feels very blessed to work for a company that has allowed him to continue to grow and develop his career in the Produce industry.
