With 29 years of experience in the grocery industry, Nathan Weitz’s career is rooted in a lifelong passion for food retail and frontline service. He began his journey as a bagger and parcel pick-up associate at 29 Super, where he learned early the value of hard work, customer care, and operational excellence—principles that have guided his steady growth in the industry ever since.
Weitz has been a dedicated leader within T.A. Solberg Company, Inc. since 2004, when he joined the organization as Grocery Manager at the Wausau Trig’s location. His strong business acumen, natural leadership abilities, and talent for merchandising quickly distinguished him as one of the company’s top-performing department leaders.
Building on that early success, Weitz advanced to the role of Director of Center Store Merchandising, where he oversaw center-store operations across seven locations. In this capacity, he played a key role in shaping the company’s merchandising strategies and operational consistency.
In 2024, Weitz was promoted to Vice President of Retail for T.A. Solberg Company, Inc. His responsibilities expanded to include project management, total-store merchandising, remodels and resets, and overall operational guidance. He leads a high-caliber team of merchandisers and store directors across the company’s grocery and convenience store divisions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s core values while driving performance and continued growth.
Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is an avid golfer and fisherman who appreciates time outdoors with family and friends.
